Torjer Olsen is a Professor and Academic Director at UiT The Arctic University of Norway.

My ambition as Arctic Five chair will be to institutionalize and further develop the collaboration between the academic institutions of the north on matters related to Sámi research and education

Working together – Sámi and Indigenous studies across the borders

The project represents the development and initial steps towards a joint multidisciplinary and collaborative research project on Sápmi and Indigenous matters, while working towards a joint PhD conference for the study of Sámi and Indigenous issues, and the further development of methodological and theoretical perspectives in Sámi research.
